Information about this aquarium:
LxWxH: 160x60x60, gross 570 litres Every week I refresh 30% of the water. On the bottom is fine grit, 1-2 mm, build up with about 50 kg of stones upon a cheap, black tempex backwall. (I didn't use white tempex because the fish dig in the grit and when they reach the tempex white would attract too much attention). I'm using 2 "Eheim proffesional" outside filters, each with a capacity of 1050 ltr/hour which I clean every two months (one at a time). 300W Jaeger heater V-tech AP-50 airpump The lighting is from 2 x TL Silvania aquastar 36 W. The backwall is a "3D rock" from Akwaline, which is glued together with the sidewalls and on the bottom. |

The inhabitants: 3 x Aulonocara multicolor (1 male/1 fe.) 2 x Aulonocara sp."stuartgranti maleri" (1 male/1 fe.) 2 x Cynotilapia afra "Jalo Reef" (1 male/1 fe.) 4 x Labidochromis caeruleus (1 male/3 fe.) 3 x Labidochromis sp."hongi" (1 male/2 fe.) 3 x Metriaclima callainos (1 male/2 fe). 3 x Metriaclima sp."daktari" (1 male/2 fe.) 3 pares of Pseudotropheus demasoni (regularly with young ones) |
